QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS:

• Two years or more experience in Purchasing is preferred, Nutraceuticals/Pharmaceuticals a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers.
• Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Math skills to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company.
• An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image
• Ability to be flexible and function comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems and SysPro a plus. An understanding of purchase order software platforms

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of purchase orders according to lead time, MOQ, and price
• Responsible for ordering and coordinating materials and/or services for production, office, and/or staff.
• Processes orders, change orders, order confirmations, RMA’s, and other transactions daily using the MRP system.
• Coordinate and schedule logistics for incoming components – domestic and international.
• Escalation of issues to Purchasing Manager
• Maintains records and systems consistent with a professional approach to purchasing activities.
• Participates in process improvement activities or other special projects as assigned.
